Looking forward to this book coming in! My novel-in-progress is still very much that: in-progress. I won't submit it anywhere except to a couple of trusted alpha readers until I've done rounds of revisions and edits, which thankfully is my favorite part of the process.
That said, it can't hurt to already have the end goal(s) in mind. And learning proper querying is a must. I have one publisher who is ready to consider this manuscript once it's finished, but should they pass on it... An agent will be most welcome at that point.

fyi: I bought your book on amazon. I clicked on "here" to get the freebies, but discovered that to get them, I can only buy from S&S, so I guess I lose. Also, S&S has a popup for a "free" book, but as I've already taken advantage of that some time ago and the popup won't go away, there's no way to see the full S&S web page anyway.
